Shawna Jordan Curtis left this world for a better place on October 27, 2020. She was 51.
Shawna was born Feb. 16, 1969, in Lawrence, the daughter of Teddy and Helen Blankenship. She spent her childhood in various places in Kansas and graduated from Marais des Cygnes Valley High School.
After high school, she and her high school sweetheart, Tony Curtis, were married. They traveled to many places with the Army.
She is survived by her husband, Tony; two sons, Kameron (Ashley) and Kyle; a daughter, Kayla (Christian); five grandchildren; her mother, Helen May; three brothers, Teddy Jordan, Scott Jordan (Mary) and Kevin Jordan (Nettie); and several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
