COVINGTON, Tenn. — Roberta May Wilson Harris-O’Brien, Covington, Tenn., died Sunday, March 15, 2020, in Covington, Tenn. She was 84.

Roberta was born July 15, 1935, in Melvern, the daughter of John Noral and Orpha Louise Meneley Wilson.

Roberta married Lowell Doyle Harris Oct. 3, 1953, in Ottawa. He preceded her in death in 2002.

Roberta and Lowell made their home near Waverly. To this union three children were born, Cynthia Lynn Harris (Domme-Cassidy), Jean Ann Harris and James Doyle Harris.

Doyle and Roberta were members of the Bethany Church of Christ, near Waverly, and later, Church of Christ, in Ottawa.

She married Dean O’Brien Aug. 19, 2003. They moved to Covington, Tenn., and became members of the Church of Christ, Munford, Tenn.

Besides her husband Doyle, she was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Clinton Wilson; and a son-in-law, Charles Domme.

She is survived by her husband, Dean; a sister Betty Cordes and husband, Ron, Meade; eight children, Cindy Cassidy and husband, Chris, Sun City Calif., Jean Harris, Kansas City, Mo., Jim Harris and wife, Karen, Ottawa, Doug O’Brien and wife, Ramona, Mobile, Ala., and Gerald O’Brien and wife, Elaine, Steve O’Brien and wife, Beth, Chris O’Brien and companion, Gay and Andy O’Brien, all of Covington Tenn.; seven grandchildren, Geoffrey Domme, Big Bear, Calif., Todd Domme and wife, Sara, Hesperia Calif., and Lydia Harris, Wyatt Harris, Ryan Rose and wife, Melissa, all of Ottawa, Melissa Bowden and husband, Bob, Wellsville, and Joel Rose and wife, Kayla, Lyndon; and many great-grandchildren.

A private graveside was held at Waverly Cemetery.
