LYNDON — Kimberly Moon, loving wife and mother of two children, died Saturday, March 14, 2020. She was 37.

Kim was born April 9, 1982, in Topeka, the daughter of James and Leyla Craig Hendrix. She graduated from Lyndon High School in 2000 and Baker University in 2008.

She married Brentt Moon June 4, 2005. He survives. They raised a daughter Kali and a son, Lawson.

While Kim was dealt a difficult hand in life, she always tried to make the most of it. She had two major passions, her family and travelling. Besides her two children she loved being intimately involved in the lives of her 18 nieces and nephews.

Besides her loving husband, she is survived by a daughter, Kali Moon, of the home; a son, Lawson Moon, of the home; her parents, Jim and Leyla Hendrix, Vassar; two sisters, Steph Garcia, Carbondale, and Debbie Robertson, Gardner; and 18 nieces and nephews.

She will lie in state 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 24 at Feltner Funeral Chapel. Family will not be present. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, at Vassar Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kim Moon Memorial Fund, to be designated later and sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, KS. 66451.
