No burning today March 6

Bryce Romine, Osage County Emergency Management Director announced that all burn permits are suspended for today, March 6, 2020 This is a no burn days. No outside burning allowed.

The Fire Danger Index will be in the very high fire danger category. The means fire control will be very difficult and require extended effort.

Winds will shift today and increase throughout the day.

Burn ban will probably be extended due to tomorrow’s forecast of 15 to 20 mph south winds with gust as high as 35 mph.
