BURLINGAME — Nadine V. Bristow died July 14, 2018. She was 97.

She was born Oct. 11, 1920, at Burlingame, the daughter of Henry W. And Naomi K. Snyder Bumford.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 19 at Amos Family Funeral Home. Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 20 at Burlingame Cemetery, Burlingame.

George Hokanson

TOPEKA — George Hokanson, Osage City, died Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Stormont-Vail Hospital, Topeka. He was 67,

He was born Feb. 6, 1951, at Osage City, the son of Clarence and Freda Allison Hokanson. He grew up in Osage City and also lived in Dodge City and Hays before returning to Osage City several years ago.

He worked most of his life as a truck driver. He was a member of the Free Tomorrow Motorcycle Club, Hays.

He married Ivy Reed Oct. 31, 1980, at Hays. She survives of the home.

TOPEKA — Margie L. (Dean Campbell) Murphy, Quenemo, died Friday July 13, 2018, at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka. She was 91.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard P. Murphy Sr.; two brothers, Carl and Kenneth Dean; and a daughter, Vickie (Campbell) Davisson; and a son-in-law, Dan Thompson.

Margaret House

March 17, 1927 – July 11,2018

TOPEKA — Margaret House, 91, died Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at her home in Topeka. She was 91.

She was born March 17, 1927, at Blytheville, Ark., the daughter of Albert and Margaret Golden Shearer. She lived in the Vassar, Lyndon and Topeka communities since 1964.

She was an owner and bookkeeper for Washburn Optical and then later did seamstress work. She was a member of the Quivira Heights Church of Christ.

She married Robert House May 1, 1946, at Pacific Grove, Calif. To this union three children were born.

Linda Louise Henderson

April 22, 1964 – July 7, 2018

TOPEKA — Linda Louise Henderson, Topeka, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 7, 2018. She was 54.

She was born April 22, 1964, at Columbia, Mo., the daughter of George Herbert and Virginia Johnson Spencer. She was a certified clinical medical assistant for Dr. Robert Durst.

She was welcomed into Heaven by a son, Tony "T.J." Henderson; three and brothers, Ralph, Kenny Joe and Alfred "Boogie" (Nancy) Spencer.
